The Business Department witnessed a fine example of student- teacher collaboration and student-led initiative in a Year 10 Business lesson. Hawra of Year 13 shared her knowledge about the applications of AI to product development and promotion. It was heartening to see that an effort was made to extend the learning of the students beyond the parameters of the curriculum to deepen the real world links.Since Year 10 students were covering the topic “Marketing Mix and Promotions” in Year 10 Business, Hawra’s presentation on Applications of AI to businesses was very relevant.
Hawra demonstrated the applications of AI through the use of the cloud in organizations. The students were able to relate it to the real life examples of businesses using it for their marketing and promotion strategies. The lesson was very engaging and clearly enhanced the awareness of our Year 10 students on a very topical issue.
