Title: Young Entrepreneurship Challenge 2019

Aims & Objectives: To create positive change by empowering students and provide an opportunity to learn real – world business, marketing, communication and entrepreneurial skills.
Summary: On 14th November, Gems Millennium School, Sharjah hosted ‘The Young Entrepreneurship Challenge 2019’ to showcase and reward students who are creative and innovative – students who demonstrate leadership and entrepreneurial thinking and, who wish to be agents of positive change in their community. There were 3 teams from the Winchester School who participated in the challenge; all the 3 teams possessed an innovative and creative idea for the users. The team Indian Entrepreneurs bagged the prize for the ‘Most Innovative Idea’ for their product called ‘itag’ which is specifically designed to track your belongings (bag, devices and even cycles etc) when lost or misplaced. It is accessible to multiple people to know the exact location through the application that can be downloaded in the App store and Play store, which is called ‘ctracing’. The target customers for the product were parents and students. Our students made a confident presentation and marketing pitch for their products.
