- To evaluate the crucial role of entrepreneurs in the growth and success of a business .
Summary: While it is debatable whether entrepreneurs are born or made, one fact is indisputable that polishing certain skills can help one become a skilled entrepreneur. What are the defining characteristics of a successful entrepreneurship? Tackling these questions and many more, the Entrepreneurial Skills Challenge quizzed the BTEC students teamed with the Year 13 students using the Kahoot.it Format.
In line of our theme of Innovation and Enterprise the Business and BTEC departments organised the Entrepreneurial Skills Challenge in the Sixth form centre on 15th November 2016. The Quiz conducted by Roumann and Anushka of Year 12 was effective in generating a lot of curious interest and buzz among the Sixth Formers. The highlight of the event was the ardent participation of our SEND BTEC students. Merlin and Safa’s team emerged as the Top scorers of the Entrepreneurial Skills Challenge.
Student/Guest /Teacher Feedback: The Entrepreneurial Skills Challenge provided a unique opportunity to the BTEC and Business students to collaborate for a competitive event .
