Expo2020 :Connecting Minds Creating the future

Summary: On 13^th April 2017 the Youth Connect Wing of Expo 2020 organized a Workshop for the teachers for a constructive dialogue with them for better awareness and engagement of students. The aim was to strengthen connection of Expo 2020 to schools across the UAE and continue interaction with educators and students for greater impact and inspiration. 

The collaborative sessions included brainstorming on several challenges given to the teachers pertaining to developing Champion schools, students’ and teachers’ kits and innovation.

Overall the session was very informative since it updated the teachers about the key themes of opportunity, mobility and sustainability relating to the Expo 2020.

 

The teachers also gave suggestions about how these themes of Expo 2020  could be incorporated in the curriculum planning and schemes of work in order to develop the 21^st century skills of students.

Teacher Feedback: The workshop was  an excellent opportunity  to continue the dialogue between Expo 2020 with educators across Dubai. We were updated you on their  school initiatives and feedback was sought on how the collaboration with the schools could be strengthened further for a greater outreach.
