Summary:The Stock Market Game 2017 was Inter-School Business competition for High School students of the grades 10, 11 and 12.It was based on the stock trading on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). Our Year 10 Business students won accolades for the Winchester school by obtaining the Runners-up Prize out of 25 participating teams.

The Stock Exchange Simulation Game gave the students an experience of the intensity of real time trading. It was an event to explore the stock knowledge, risk aptitude and decision making skills where teams of 3 participants each were given a fixed amount and were asked to trade and earn profit. The game comprised of 5 rounds in which in the first round buying of shares was allowed whereas in the last round only selling of shares was permitted. The team that earned the maximum profit were announced as winners. The winning team comprised of Year 10 Business students, Ankit Mehta, Arjun Muralidharan and Zahra Virani.

Overall the Stock Trading Game held at the GEMS Modern Academy was very fast paced and engaging. It was an excellent student-led initiative organized by the Year 12 & 13 students of the GEMS MODERN ACADEMY.
