Aims & Objective :
- To reinforce student understanding of Time zones topic in Travel and Tourism
- To promote interdepartmental collaboration in teaching.
Summary:
This was a lesson organized by the Travel and Tourism (Business Department) in collaboration with Humanities department on the topic Time zones.
Students benefited from the specialist knowledge of Mr. Ernest (HOD Humanities) in showing the link between Geography and Travel and Tourism. Students learnt how to calculate time zones, and its effect on travel and tourism using various collaborative activities and solving worksheets. The session was very smooth, interesting and engaging for all. The Travel and Tourism teachers provided additional support to SEND children on a one to one basis and supported other groups to effectively solve the worksheets. The session also demonstrated effective questioning in lessons.
