One of the best ways of summarizing the effectiveness of a lesson is the introduction of a Pad let as a Plenary activity . It is an excellent AFL tool which motivates the students to apply their understanding of a topic to contextual real world examples. The responses of the students are well researched and elicit in-depth analysis of the subject matter. Attached are a few examples of students applying their theoretical understanding to the issue of factors affecting the global demand for oil.
