Empowering Business students for Classrooms of the Future

Research shows that virtual and augmented reality simulations enhance student motivation and improve collaboration and application skills. Students of Year 12 & 13 BTEC Business had an opportunity to cascade their learning by teaching other students how to create their own VR Content. Virtual Reality allowed students to showcase their imagination by creating their own innovative products. Learners developed a coherent marketing mix for a new product. They were engaged, motivated and challenged throughout by being able to visualize what they learnt from a different perspective. This initiative of empowering BTEC Business students in leading Virtual Reality lessons will go a long way towards equipping our students with the relevant skills for classrooms of the future.
