As a part of the coursework for year 12 Travel and Tourism , 4 students organized a field trip to Etihad Museum, Jumeirah. The museum was a historical site that showcased the union of UAE. A tour guide enlightened the students about the various historical items of the founding Fathers of the UAE.
The Museum has incorporated interactive technology in the tour of museum.It boasts of a panoramic interactive map highlighting the era before the formation of the federation and an interactive timeline that demonstrates key historical events before the union.
There was a total of 27 students including the 4 organizers. The students were from Year 11 Travel and Tourism class. Overall the trip was interactive and educational and it gave the students an insight into UAE ‘s history .
