Mr Glenn is  the founder of the Millennium Project which is a global foresight network building a global collective intelligence system recognized for its ability to improve prospects for humanity.  The focus of the Talk was on the key global challenges , the 2015-16 State of the Future report and  the integrated global strategies . Mr Glenn also touched upon how the  future work scenarios would transform with the advent of Artificial intelligence and the need for self- employability .

The session gave the students an insight into the Global Futures Curriculum and how the programme was Trans-institution in nature since it  had representatives and stakeholders from the UN , the universities, the corporations and the NGOs .The Talk evoked a lot of interest among the students and in the ensuing Open Mike session the students asked Mr Glenn several thought provoking questions. Overall the session generated a lot of discussion and debate amongst the students and it was a great learning opportunity and prequel to the Global Futures Curriculum. The GFC aims at equipping the students with the  transferable skills relevant to a rapidly changing global scenario.

Student/Parent/Teacher Feedback:

The Singularity University event was eye- opening and the future was seen like never before. One thing that had caught my attention was the agendas for different branches of science and economics and how we are aiming, as a world, to achieve them. All said, the event was knowledgeable, memorable and interactive.
